Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Field Collection Team Leader to manage and lead our field collection team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of field collection agents, ensuring that collection targets are met, and operational efficiency is maintained. The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of field collection agents to ensure collection targets are met and exceeded.

  • Plan and allocate daily collections, ensuring effective route planning and resource utilization.

  • Monitor field operations to ensure that collection procedures are followed in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training, feedback, and coaching to team members to improve performance.

  • Handle escalated collection cases and resolve customer disputes or concerns effectively.

  • Maintain detailed records of all collections, including documentation, receipts, and customer interactions.

  • Develop strategies for enhancing field collection processes, reducing delinquencies, and improving customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure all field staff are adequately equipped, trained, and prepared for fieldwork.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., legal, operations) to resolve complex cases and support team performance.

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection progress and team performance to senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to collections and field operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.

  • 2+ years of experience in a field collection role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding collection targets.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive customer situations professionally.

  • Familiarity with field collection tools and technologies.

  • Knowledge of regulatory and legal aspects related to debt collection.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
