Location: Bengaluru
Role: Key Account Manager (KAM) Trainer
Budget: ₹5,00,000 - ₹6,00,000 LPA

Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Key Account Manager (KAM) Trainer to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for Key Account Managers (KAMs). The role requires a deep understanding of account management, client relations, and effective training methodologies to enhance the performance of the KAM team. As a KAM Trainer, you will play a critical role in shaping the skills and capabilities of our account management team to drive client success and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Design & Development:

    • Develop and deliver customized training programs for KAMs, focusing on key account management strategies, client relationship building, negotiation skills, and sales techniques.

    • Create training materials, modules, and resources that align with company goals and industry best practices.

    • Ensure training programs are up-to-date with current market trends, client expectations, and emerging technologies.

  2. Training Delivery & Execution:

    • Conduct classroom sessions, workshops, webinars, and one-on-one coaching to enhance the skills of the KAM team.

    • Facilitate hands-on training to help the KAMs effectively apply strategies in real-world situations.

    • Provide continuous learning opportunities through regular sessions, refresher courses, and new skill-building activities.

  3. Team Development & Performance Improvement:

    • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of individual KAMs and provide tailored training and support to help them achieve their potential.

    • Work closely with the KAM leadership team to identify areas for improvement and design focused interventions.

    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.

  4. Knowledge Sharing & Best Practices:

    • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by encouraging collaboration and idea exchange within the team.

    • Regularly update training materials to reflect best practices, client feedback, and internal learnings.

  5. Continuous Monitoring & Feedback:

    • Provide ongoing feedback and mentoring to KAMs to help them overcome challenges and achieve success in their roles.

    • Track KAM performance pre- and post-training to measure improvements and identify further development needs.

    • Regularly communicate with senior management regarding the impact of training programs on KAM performance and client satisfaction.

  6. Client-Focused Strategy Training:

    • Incorporate practical case studies and real-life client scenarios into training programs to help KAMs better understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.

    • Ensure that KAMs are well-equipped to manage large and complex accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and business growth.

  7. Reporting & Documentation:

    • Maintain records of training sessions, attendance, progress, and feedback.

    • Prepare detailed reports on training outcomes, employee growth, and areas for further development.

Key Requirements:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in Key Account Management or Sales, with at least 1 year in a training or mentoring role.

    • Strong understanding of account management processes, sales strategies, and client relationship management.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage and inspire teams.

    • Ability to design and develop effective training programs and materials.

    • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.

    • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with LMS (Learning Management Systems).

Salary Package:
₹5,00,000 - ₹6,00,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications).
